M and M could not have better parents and she is blessed beyond belief. I thank the Lord every day for the parents that took my brother and I from bad situations, healed us and make us their own.

You are indeed all special people.

Merry Christmas to you and the Queen.Home on the Rangehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03836315423040719919noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8970071813477046910.post-42584282303929604232012-12-14T22:05:37.910-06:002012-12-14T22:05:37.910-06:00HH, I'll take all the prayers I can get. It's why I pray for your patience and sanity: there's too much stupid around to make it easy.

(I let the kids have juice...sometimes. It causes both of them to get the runs, which is okay for the imp, who's potty trained, but causes even more problems for the pixie, who isn't.)Heroditus Huxleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11049569750742829144noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8970071813477046910.post-343357979989601172012-12-13T16:11:17.735-06:002012-12-13T16:11:17.735-06:00GunDiva, yep. They are good kids with tons of potential. The Banshee is super smart for her age; and, with the right guidance would go far. Mini Me has a heart of gold, but he is going to take a strong parent to motivate him scholastically and otherwise. My biggest concerns for him are that he needs a firm hand to keep him out of trouble. I can easily foresee him having run ins with the law as well as girl troubles when he is older. On the other hand, I have a very low tolerance for BS and epic idiocy. We allow real juices (not the sugared up pseudo juices), milk and water. A very rare treat of lemonade or Sprite is allowed on special occasions. Milk and chocolate milk are okay. At least the chocolate milk has some food value. They don't get soda at any other time, but chug lots of water and about two gallons of chocolate milk per week between the two of them (imp is four, pixie is two). The pixie is having trouble cutting the last four molars, so I've been letting her have as much chocolate milk as she'll drink, because she doesn't want to eat much (besides crackers, cheesy crackers, apples, and Veggie Straws). Other than that, they get water.

And I really don't get the "can't say no" thing...I sometimes feel like I don't say anything other than "no, you can't have/do/throw that."Heroditus Huxleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11049569750742829144noreply@blogger.com
