Vacation

Well, after looking at just about every condo rental in the state of Florida, we have finally booked a place in St. Augustine. It had several things going for it not the least of which is that it was available and didn't cost an arm and a leg. We will be arriving late Sunday, July 14 and leaving Friday, July 19 in the morning. If you happen to be in the area and want a visit from some crazy Texans, drop me a line.

    dang! why did you have to pick Florida? i could have gotten you a fisherman's shack up here on cape breton island for a really good price. then we could all have met up - i like me the occasional crazy Texan and a Queen!

      Kymber, Florida was selected by The Queen because she wanted a place to snorkel and lie in the sun. I'll take a rain check on the fishing shack though.

    Not sure exactly where you are staying but a suggestion for dinner ... Saltwater Cowboys ... http://saltwatercowboys.com/ Not far from the condo area & we've always had a good meal there. Love their salads with either pear or apples in the mix.

      DFW, I haven't looked up the exact location yet, but I know it is close to downtown St. Augustine and less than 100 yards from the beach. I will definitely keep your suggestion in mind.
