Sunday Funnies

The only thing wrong with is that there are not three winters in Texas (except maybe Amarillo). Winter is usually on a Thursday.

Have fun storming the castle.

Having grown very rapidly between 5TH and 6TH grade (seriously...over a foot of growth in 1 year) and a metabolism that resulted in not being able to put on any muscle mass, my back and joints have been protesting for the better part of 35 years now. You learn to live with it and adapt.

I could eat brisket pretty much every day. Brisket tacos will be the death of me.

Spiders are allowed to stay in our house as long as they stay in their webs in the corner to keep the fly and mosquito population in check. If they violate this rule by dropping on us from the ceiling, we have a brief interlude of interpretative dance before counseling them on poor life choices and relocating them to the back porch for a time out.

I'm pretty sure this violates Federal law and common sense...I want it.

Can you imagine either Archie Bunker or The Jeffersons airing today?

Awkward.

Tacos are one of the four main food groups. They are essential to a healthy diet.

When sitting in a boat drinking a beer just isn't cutting it anymore.

 I'd fly it.

Nope. No one will know a thing. I'll be faking my death and disappearing.

The French Army tests out its new tactical diapers.

Evil finds a way. Always.

Gotta love dogs. They'll do anything.

This is actually very true.

The struggle is real.

The youngest nephew and his wife just spawned their first tricycle motor. I sent him this.

If you don't get this one, have a young person explain it.

There is absolutely nothing suspicious about Epstein's "suicide". Nothing at all. The rope found around his neck was purely coincidental to the two gunshot wounds to the back of the head and the drug overdose and the HRC monogrammed scarf stuffed in his mount.

Friday Funnies

Well, here we are again. Another week without posting anything substantive in the content department. I'd comment on politics, but that's too depressing right now. Trump continues to thumb his nose at the Republican establishment...which I have to admit is pretty entertaining. Cruz and Rubio continue to jockey for position with neither one really outshining the other. Jeb must be looking for a dictionary so he can decipher the writing on the wall. Bernie continues to sit all alone out on the far left. The one thing that would make me stand up and cheer and restore some measure of faith in our system, the indictment of Hillary, isn't likely to happen anytime soon (if at all).

So, we have to rely on the funnies to make us laugh so we won't cry. Enjoy.

It seemed appropriate in the lead up to the primaries.

Look closely...
And the water coolers, and the bath tubs, and the toilets...

Actually, this would be The Queen.

Remember, boogers are sugar free, gluten free and organic. They can be pesticide free as long as you don't take a hit off the Round Up bottle while digging in the garden.

Say it with me now..."puh-kahn"

Friday Funnies

Since I'm already doing this for my people at work, I might as well make this a semi regular feature here on the blog. Gives me an excuse to post something and might actually lead to me writing more regularly again.

The sad part about this picture is that I have a 30 something subordinate who will not get this joke. She's blonde, and she has never seen Star Wars or Star Trek. We constantly have to explain cultural references to her.

It was pretty surreal.

Yep, that's a groaner.

One of my favorite movie lines is from Denzel Washington's Man on Fire. He's waiting in an older couple's apartment to ambush a group of cars with a rocket launcher. The old man says something like "Vengeance is mine sayeth the Lord." Denzel turns responds with "Yes, and I'm just here to arrange the meeting."

When your Taco Bell meets the toxic hell.

#8. Two thumbs up.

This one is to poke a little fun at a subordinate from Minisoda.

I'm guessing that stopping on a dime ended several hundred thousand miles ago.

Replicators anyone?

There's a crime against my childhood memories for you.

Yep.
