The icing on the cake is that the attorney we thought was going to represent us changed her mind yesterday afternoon. The hearing is less than a week away.

GunDiva, neither do I. I forget who said "Never attribute to malice that which can be explained by incompetence."; but, when it comes to government bureaucracy in a rural Texas county, playing favorites for malicious reasons is not unheard of.
