Things That Make You Wonder....

The Queen and I were out and about yesterday to run some errands and just generally escape Castle Erickson for a while. We stopped at the Genghis Grill in the Fossil Creek area in north Ft. Worth for dinner after trekking a long, long way....seriously, it felt like we were almost to Oklahoma...to visit Cabela's (really cool place...I liked it better than Bass Pro Shop). Upon leaving said dining establishment, I noticed the license plate on the white Chevy Tahoe with black rims. It said:

1BADHO

Naturally, this brings out the snarky, perverted side of my brain. For instance, thoughts like "She (I am guessing at the gender here since I didn't see the owner) can't be all that bad if she can afford a Tahoe with custom rims." or "I guess that means she gives you an STD at no extra charge."

I wish I had taken a picture of it. More importantly, I wish I had gotten a picture of the owner.

  2. Mr. Daddy, I know what you mean; but, as an degree holding and experienced people watcher, I really can't think of a down side here. If he or she is hideous, the comedic value is incredible. If he or she is smokin' hot, the imagination gets to run wild.

  3. K.,
I really can't think of a down side here.

And exactly how does the Missus feel about you taking pictures of unknown women?

Especially if they are 'smokin' hot'?

I think it is a sad commentary that a person would put that on a license plate --- how far have our standards of decency have slipped with it is okay to advertise or proclaim yourself to be a "ho".

  4. Bob, in hind sight, my comment didn't come out right. My brain has been fried the last few days due to lack of sleep. The point I was trying to make was that, if he/she is hot, your imagination gets to fill in the blank as to why they are "Bad". Swing and a miss.

As to The Queen, she's normally the one pointing them out to me since I'm generally oblivious and immune to other women's attributes.

Finally, I agree with your last comment. I've never been tempted to get vanity plates, and I really just don't understand the thought process behind it.

I am not easily offended. Please feel free to express your opinions: good, bad or indifferent. Basically, the "Golden Rule" applies. You get what you give. Treat others like trash here, and your comments will be trashed accordingly. Rudeness and vulgarity will not be tolerated.
